| Cascio Music opened its doors for the first time on August 4, 1946.
After World War II had ended, a young Army Corpsman decided to pursue his first love: music. Frank S. Cascio began this first store on Beloit Road in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with only $500.00 in his pocket and a dream in his heart. After only a few short years in his Beloit Road location Frank moved his store to a larger building at 6104 West Lincoln Avenue in West Allis, Wisconsin. It was at this location that the store really began to grow. Complete with sheet music department and lesson studios, Cascio Music would give as many as 600 lessons. |
